IOSH Managing Safely Training Courses (Virtual)

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely Course is a comprehensive 3-day training program designed for Managers, Team Leaders, and Supervisors. It equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage health and safety within their teams.

Entry Requirements

The IOSH Managing Safely course requires students to have a strong command of reading, spoken, and written English.

Please Note:

This course is conducted in English, so a good understanding of the language is essential. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Course Materials:

All necessary training materials are provided during the course, including an IOSH Managing Safely workbook that students can retain.

Assessment:

Students are expected to attend all 3 days of the training course and actively participate throughout. Failure to attend all sessions will result in not receiving a certificate, necessitating enrollment in a new IOSH course with full attendance. Assessment includes an IOSH Managing Safely Exam, comprising a multiple-choice test, and an IOSH Managing Safely project, demonstrating the student’s proficiency in conducting a risk assessment.

Qualification & Renewal:

Successful students will receive an official IOSH Certificate. The IOSH qualification does not expire, but it is recommended that students take an IOSH Refresher course every 3 years to ensure their knowledge remains current.

Our IOSH course tutors are accredited by IOSH and are highly experienced professionals with over 20 years of expertise in Safety and Health and various industry backgrounds.

Will lunch be provided?

Lunch is not provided, however refreshments will be provided during the class.

Is there free Parking?

Nearly all of our venues have free parking available and are also very close to public transport links. Please contact us for further information for your chosen course date.

How long are the certificates valid?

IOSH Certificates have no expiry date however it is advised that students take a IOSH refresher course every 3 years to keep their knowledge up to date.

What are the hours of the course?

The hours are 9am to 5pm for a 3 day course. In total, it’s approximately a 24 hour course.

Do I need any previous experience before I do the IOSH course?

No previous qualifications are needed. However experience is useful throughout the training but it is NOT a requirement.

When will I receive the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate?

If you have passed, you will receive your certificate up to 4 to 8 weeks after completion of the course.

I’m new to IOSH, where would you recommend I start?

It depends on your job role, if you are a manager, supervisor, team leader or if you are responsible for the safety of others at work in any way, then the IOSH Managing Safely course is suggested.

For other employees and keen parties, IOSH Working Safely delivers a manageable overview of safety in a workplace.

How long does an IOSH certificate last for?

An IOSH Managing Certificate and/or IOSH Working Safely Certificate is valid for life.
